Super Eagles and Watford forward, Odion Ighalo, is banking on a well deserved rest to kill off Stoke City in this weekend’s Barclays Premier League clash at Vicarage
Road.
The 26-year-old Nigerian international, who won the Man-of-the-Match award after his outstanding show against Arsene Wenger’s side, limped out before the end of the FA Cup quarterfinal win over Arsenal at The Emirates on Sunday.
“I got two days rest and some massage and I will be ready for the weekend’s game,” revealed Ighalo, who scored the first goal against the Gunners’ and created the second during the clash.
The former Flying Eagles captain is expected to lead the line for Nigeria in the crucial 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Egypt this month…..
