The General Overseer, Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Jeremiah Fufeyin, has said that critics cannot stop him from offering the needy a helping hand.
Fufeyin stated this while receiving some members of the Warri Correspondent Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in his church, recently.
According to the clergyman, “I enjoy giving and that is the hallmark of religion. I will not allow criticisms to affect my giving. In fact, people will always criticize; so critics are indirect promoters.”
He stressed that those criticising people were indirect promoters, adding that their actions would only spur and encourage him to do more for the people.
Fufeyin said the ministry, which started about six years ago, now had more than 850 workforce.
“This ministry started about six years ago, when God called me to go and start it, and we have been at this new site for about three years now to develop at this level.
“Many have asked, how can God do great things like this? And I replied that the finger of God can do anything. The finger of God can make a man who is nobody to become somebody in a second.
“The Bible says we should practise love because it is the greatest. Today, the finger of God is seen here and we have over 850 persons working under this ministry,’ he said.
While the cleric urged people to give their lives to God, he noted that everybody would be accountable for his deeds on earth on the day of reckoning.
Members of the church and other worshippers come from far and near in search of spiritual breakthrough accompanied with great testimonies.
