BY MUFUTAU ADEBOWLAE
The government is preventing Nigeria from overcoming the present economic doldrums due to the under listed reasons.
As we keep on importing fuel, the government is giving support to the NNPC Limited that has made it impossible to get our refineries activated.
As we keep on importing fuel, we are developing the economy of those countries selling imported fuel to us at the expense of our development. When our refineries are kept redundant and we keep their refineries active, we therefore flourish their economy as a result of our patronage.
The amount of dollars we are spending on imported fuel is outrageous and amounts to a monumental disaster because it is extremely huge and destructive to our national economy.
When thousands or hundred thousands of importers of vehicles, raw materials, machineries, motor and equipment parts, building materials, books, patients medicine and others are demanding for dollars to import and also NNPC is also constantly using huge amount of dollars on fuel importation, the demand for dollars pushes up the price of dollars (exchange rate).
With a very high exchange rate, every item imported is bound to carry a high selling price. This also includes fuel.
Our refineries are in perfect conditions
For some 23 years now, I, Mufutau Adebowale, have been proffering solutions to the problems of fuel scarcity in Nigeria.
All our refineries are absolutely in a near perfect condition. The NNPC for over 25 years now has been deceiving successive administrations that our refineries are very bad.
“The NNPC authority makes every new government experience fuel scarcity and causes panic at the beginning of every new administration”
The NNPC likes to bamboozle the Nigerian government that billions of dollars are needed to effect repairs.
The NNPC for more than 20 years now has been deliberately keeping our refineries redundant making importation of fuel inevitable.
As subsidy money is paid on our imported fuel, they keep all our refineries comatose so that imported fuel must be the only option and be paying for subsidy monies.
The NNPC authority makes every new government experience fuel scarcity and causes panic at the beginning of every new administration.
I, Mufutau Adebowale the President, Certified Institute of Purchasing and Supply Administrators of Nigeria, exposed this act of economic strangulation to the administration of Presidents Umaru Musa Yaradua and Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
By the tail end of the administration of President Jonathan, the NNPC created artificial scarcity for the new government of President Muhammadu Buhari to inherit.
I, Mufutau Adebowale prevented problems for the Buhari’s administration. I equipped President Buhari with facts and made his administration hit the ground running.
Just after four days in office as the President of Nigeria, there was fuel everywhere in the country.
(See the evidence in the website, www.tinubufuelsubsidy.com.)
As a result there was anxiety at NNPC because they were thinking President Buhari would sack many of them.
(See The Nation Newspaper, June 18, 2015; Front Page. “Anxiety at NNPC Ahead of Buhari’s Shake-up.”)
I equipped President Bola Tinubu with facts about NNPC and solutions to fuel subsidy but the government decided to listen to the top authority in NNPC, instead of me.
(See www.tinubufuelsubsidy.com.)
Five times I have sent important information about NNPC, fuel suppliers and other important matters but the government is fully in support of the NNPC.
(Read the letters and see courier receipts in www.tinubufuelsubsidy.com)
When we stop fuel importation, the demand for dollars will fall sharply and the exchange rate of one dollar can be as low as N40.

Thank you.
