For Chief Olabode George, assessing the mid-term performance of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration was an occasion to take a swipe at fellow politicians who got on the wrong side of his person. Assuredly, former Lagos State governor and leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, got his doses of George’s scathing remarks.

But the worst hit is the current minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), who is a former governor of the state.

George, looking at the performance of Fashola, simply sneered, saying, “even when he was the governor of Lagos State, he was at best the Governor of Surulere, as he concentrated development on Surulere, where he comes from!”

Response, is due from Fashola.
