The Governor of Rivers State, Simi Fubara, has urged #Endbadgovernance protesters in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, to eschew violence.

Fubara, who came to one of the protest grounds in the state, said his government knows that “there is hunger in the land.”

He said he will work to ensure that hunger in the state becomes a thing of the past.

The Governor then said that he would give the protesters “something” to buy pure water with, to which many of them screamed “no, no. It is good governance we want.”
Fubara however told the protesters that he will pass their message to the Federal Government.
