Nigerian football followers are still mourning the passage of former national team coach, Paul Hamilton.
Hamilton, who has been bedridden for months due to problems with his legs, which came from injuries he sustained during his playing days, breathed his last in Lagos in the early hours of Thursday.
Hamilton lost his left leg, which was amputated at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba.
Hamilton, who spent most of his playing days at the defunct ECN, managed the Super Eagles in 1989.
He survived by his wife, Durdy, children and grand children.
