Ex-international, Henry Nwosu, has urged Super Eagles attacking midfielder, Victor Moses, to fight his way back to Chelsea’s first team this season. Moses has been striving hard to return to Stamford Bridge, after moving round the English Premiership on loan.
The Nigerian player has been one of Chelsea’s well-known ‘preseason heroes’ since his arrival at the club from Wigan in 2012. But in the four seasons that has followed, he has only had the chance to play for Chelsea during the first one.
Moses has been sent on loan to three different Premier League outfits in the last three years.
Last season, the 25-year-old spent his time at West Ham, making 27 appearances and scoring 2 goals for a side that finished 7th in the league — three places and twelve points above his parent club.
Having signed a new long-term contract just prior to that move, Moses remains committed to trying to make it at Chel- sea. He is hoping Antonio Conte will take notice.
“Moses has not been lucky with Chelsea’s managers, in spite of his contributions in the team. He hard during the days of Jose Mourinho but at the end, the coach loaned him out,” he said.
“If at the end he does not make the team, he should con- centrate more on getting a regular shirt elsewhere,” he said.
As Moses battles for Chelsea’s shirt, however, he also has to protect his place in the national team.
