Fidelity Bank sets date for release of half year audited account

The board of directors of Fidelity Bank Plc said it is working to publish its audited financial account for the half year ending June 30, 2023 on or before August 29, 2023.

The bank in a notification sent to the Nigeria Exchange Limited on Friday asked for the closure of trading windows on its stocks to insiders and connected persons from July 1, 2023.

The statement signed by the company secretary Ezinwa Unuigboje, reads in part: “Upon completion of the audit, the Audited Financial Statements for the half year ending June 30, 2023 shall be presented to the Central Bank of Nigeria for approval and thereafter, published in compliance with the provisions of the Nigerian Exchange Limited’s Rule Book and other relevant statutes/regulations.

“The Bank expects to publish the audited financial statements on or before August 29, 2023.

“Premised on the foregoing, the trading window for dealing in the Bank’s shares shall be closed to its insiders and their connected persons from July 1, 2023, until 24 hours after the release of the audited financial statements for the half year ended June 30, 2023.”
