Promotional examination for junior civil service officials will start on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, according to the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
This information was revealed in a circular released in Abuja on Tuesday and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Career Management Office.
The examination was supposed to take place all over the federation between Tuesday, August 2, and Friday, August 5, 2022.
The public service examination board accepted the need for the payment of a non-refundable examination fee of 3,000 per candidate in an earlier circular.
However, a fresh circular made note of the exam’s postponement.
Postponement of the conduct of the 2022 combined confirmation and promotion of Grade Level 2 to 6 junior officers is stated in part of the circular with reference number HCSF/CMO/MP/782/T3.
“This is to advise you that the 2022 Combined Confirmation/Promotion Examination has been postponed from Tuesday, August 2 through Friday, August 5, as originally planned.
“The exam has now been rescheduled for the following dates: A deadline for registration/closure of the portal is August 19, 2022, and B dates for the examination are September 13–16, 2022.
“Please take note that everything in the previous call circular, dated 15 April 2022, is still valid, with the exception of the date change in paragraph (2) above.”
