A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted extension of an exparte injunction restraining the People’s Democratic Party from suspending Dan Orbih from the party.

Orbih, a former Chairman of the PDP in Edo State, is currently a member of the party’s National Working Committee and its Assistant National Chairman (South South zone).

Granting the extension of the exparte injunction, in a suit NO: FHC/ABJ/CS601/2024 the judge, Justice Peter O. “By consent of counsel and at the instance of the 1st defendant, the motion on notice is herein adjourned to the 17th of July, 2024 for hearing.”

The defendants in the suit are Paulinus Ibode, People’s Democratic Party, and the Independent National Electoral Commission, while the plaintiff is Dan Orbih.
