Nigerian-born Beninoise international, Rasak Omotoyossi and U-23 star and CSS Sfaxien forward, Junior Ajayi, were mobbed by autographs’ and selfie-seeking fans at the Lion Field, Alimosho, a Lagos suburb, moments after training.

The fans waited patiently for the holidaying players to finish their business on the pitch before scrambling for snapshots with the foreign-based players.

Speaking with The Point, Omotoyossi, who recently celebrated the naming ceremony of his fourth child with Nollywood actress wife, Bose Alao, noted that coming to train with De Royal Football Academy players was his own way of encouraging the youngsters to push harder.

“It’s all good being here at the Alimosho Lion Field. I came here to do my job as a football player and also to encourage the youngsters to put in more effort and hardwork to their game,” he said, even as he applauded the praises of the fans.

On his part, Tunisia-based Ajayi stressed that it was nice playing on the ground where it all started for him.

“I’m grateful to the fans for coming all out to support us during the training. This ground (Alimosho) remains my home and I will strive to represent fans interest at all times,” the CAF U-23 African Nations Cup winner said before posing for more selfies with the fans.
