THE Surulere Police Division has been attacked by hoodlums.
At least three officers have been shot in the attack, while many have been injured, The Point has learnt.
One of the police officers, identified as Erinfolami Ayodeji, reportedly died, while the other two, who are said to be in critical conditions, are receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Surulere, according to police sources.
The attack is said to be a reprisal action over the alleged killing of an #EndSARS protester in the area by a police officer.
Spokesperson of the Lagos police command, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed that three officers where shot.
