A group of hackers called Anonymous has allegedly hacked the website of MultiChoice.
The hacking of the paytv website has allowed free viewing of channels by subscribers, The Point has learnt.
This development has been trending on various social media platforms for hours.
Our correspondent who spoke with subscribers of the digital television gathered that many of them were now watching channels without subscription.
Tola Saheed, a subscriber, told our correspondent, “It is real, I have been watching my DSTV free without subscription since morning. Thanks to Annonymous ooo.”
“I just checked my GOTV now. I can watch everything. This protest is really benefitting us o. New Nigeria is on its way,” another subscriber, Seun Babalola, said.
Recall that several sites had recently been allegedlly hacked by the group.
