- Pharoah’s camp open Feb 23
The Egyptian Football Association has disclosed that the body is planning to change the
match venue for the reverse fixture between the Pharaohs and Nigeria’s Super Eagles originally slated for March 29 in Borg El-Arab.
According to reports coming out of the North African nation, the EFA now wants to move the game to Cairo stadium.
“The game between Egypt and Nigeria will likely hold in Cairo,” the association’s board member, Ehab Lehitah, was quoted as saying.
Already, the EFA has concluded all plans to open Pharaohs camp next week ahead of the
double-header against Nigeria. “Egypt will start a training camp ahead of the qualifiers on 23 February, four days before they play the Burkina Faso friendly in Borg El-Arab Stadium, Alexandria,” Lehitah added.
