ONE of the supporters of Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, on Saturday, fell from a speeding vehicle.
The man, whose identity has not been revealed, was celebrating with others over the results that had been announced in favour of his candidate when he fell.
The incident, which occured around Ugbekun Primary School, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of the state, threw people around into confusion as he hit his head on the road, while the vehicle sped off.
Other supporters, however, quickly came to his rescue and rushed him to a nearby clinic.
As of the time of filing this report, it was not clear whether the young man survived the fall.
