Super Eagles star Tyronne Ebuehi has resumed pre-season training with Portuguese Primeira Liga giants, Benfica, shortly after the Nigeria National Team were knocked out of the 2018 World Cup.
Reports confirmed that Ebuehi adapted quickly with his new club and participated in a demanding morning session, and his welcome was reserved for the end of training.
It could be recalled that on Thursday, July 12, Ebuehi trained with the rest of his teammates and Benfica fans were allowed to watch him for the first fifteen minutes of the workout.
The 22-year-old snubbed overtures from ADO Den Haag, who had offered him a new deal, to pen a five-year contract with Benfica in the summer transfer window.
The Point gathered that he has been handed the number 23 jersey for the upcoming season by Benfica.
Benfica will battle Vitória Setúbal, Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Olympique Lyonnais in friendly games before their first competitive match of the new season against Vitória Guimarães next month.
