THE Senate will proceed on 19 days Easter break from Thursday, 25th March, 2021.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan disclosed this at the end of plenary on Wednesday.
He said the upper chamber of the National Assembly was expected to resume on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
However, the standing committees of the Senate will continue to carry out their legislative work during the break period, Lawan noted.
