GOVERNOR Rotimi Akeredolu has declared that he will not allow any act of disloyalty to fester in his administration.
He said he would sack any disloyal aide immediately, noting that there would be no room for explanation.
Akeredolu, who made the declaration during the swearing-in of four commissioners in the state, added that anyone sacked for disloyalty would not be recalled.
“We will sanction disloyalty with dispatch. We will not allow it to fester. There will be no room for an explanation because the choices I made are deliberate,” he said.
“My resolve to bring you back underscores the importance of the quality of services you rendered in our first term. Our people are expecting a lot. It behoves on us to sustain the level of excellence,” the Governor stressed.
Those who were sworn in as Commissioners were: Wale Akinterinwa (Commissioner for Finance); Ojogo Kimikanboh Donald (Commissioner for Information); Charles Titiloye (Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General); and Aminu Raimi Olayiwola (Commissioner for Works).
They are to resume duties immediately at the ministries were they served during the first term of the Akeredolu administration.
