Delta state citizens have commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for appointing ward liaison officers for the People’s Democratic Party in the 25 local government areas of the state.
They said that by his action, the state governor had shown that he was committed to its “Prosperity for all Deltans” slogan, adding that with the appointment of the ward liaison officers the governor had also proved that he meant well for the state.
The Executive Assistant to the governor on political matters, Hon Jerry Eruvbedede, who spoke at the inaugural meeting of the Warri South West Local Government Area ward liaison officers held at the Government House, Annex, Warri, lauded Okowa for the appointments.
Eruvbedede, who congratulated the newly appointed ward liaison officers on their appointments, reminded them that it was a great privilege as they had now been recognised by the state governor and the ruling political party in the state.
