No fewer than six people have been reportedly killed with six others injured in a lone auto crash near the Obasanjo Farms, Ughelli/Asaba Expressway, Delta State.
At least, four occupants of the crashed Toyota bus with registration number, AKD596 GE, were said to have died on the spot while the other two passengers allegedly gave up the ghost at a nearby hospital.
It was learnt that 18 passengers were in the vehicle returning to Warri from Anambra State where they went for a burial ceremony when the incident occurred.
The vehicle reportedly summersaulted several times as the driver lost control when one of the tires burst.
The injured victims were said to have been taken to the General Hospital in Ogwashi Uku.
They were later said to have been moved to the Federal Medical Center, Asaba for further care.
The Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps in the state, Ibrahim Abubakar, confirmed the incident, urging motorists to guide against over speeding.
