The reasons Nigeria’s top musicians, Davdio and Wizkid, have been attacking each other on social is now linked to a lady. But it is yet to be ascertained if this is real.
According to a source who gave us the hint, Wizkid featured the said model in his recent musical video, ‘Come Closer,’ which did not go down well with Davido.
It was learnt that Davido was at a time in love with the model but things didn’t quite work out well between them. The source said he still likes the tall pretty lady but she refuses to give him attention.
When Wizkid featured her in the musical video, however, Davido felt it was a deliberate attempt to taunt him. Davido reportedly threw the first attack on Wikzid on social media and Wizkid replied. But the response only marked the beginning of a continuous tweets inspired by beef.
Before now, there’ve been silent rivalry between both artistes even though it has not always been stated clearly. Wizkid feels he is a better artiste than Davido, while Davido thinks he too is better.
