Real Madrid Football Club superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, is set to make a cameo acting debut alongside Hollywood veteran actress, Angelina Jolie, in a proposed TV drama.
Ronaldo, the 2016 FIFA Player of the Year award winner has signed up to make special appearance in ‘Hayat Koprusu’, a new TV drama series about Syrian refugees.
Director of the series, Eyup Dirlik, disclosed that Ronaldo would make a cameo appearance in the drama, which will feature actors and actresses from across the world.
“The series is about the plight of a Syrian refugee family, who flees the war-torn country, and what they go through,” the Daily Mail UK said.
Dirlik said, “We will begin filming in the first week of April; the series is about the plight of a refugee family and what they go through.
“There will be appearances from actors and actresses from all over the world including, Ronaldo, Angelina Jolie and Nancy Ajram.”
Ronaldo, five- time FIFA Footballer of the Year and ‘Ballon d’Or’ winner, seems to be turning his attention to the make believe world, having conquered the world of the round leather game.
