Court orders Kano business man’s arrest

A in Taurani, Kano has ordered the police to arrest a Kano-based businessman, Adamu Ibrahim, for disregarding court summon.

A man called Aminu Koki had dragged the businessman to court over a failed business transaction between them.

However, Ibrahim was said to have failed to show up or produce any legal representative for his defence despite several court summons served on him.

The presiding judge, Khadi Abdul Abdullahi Waya, was said to have frowned against the failure of the Kano State Police Command to arrest and produce the businessman in court.

Consequently, the court has ordered the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 1 to direct the Kano State Police Command to arrest and produce the wanted businessman in court on or before September 30, 2021.
