…says disease not natural
. Gives tips on how Nigeria can rid itself of virus
. ‘We’re already consulting gods on remedy’
Chief Priest of Osogbo, Osun State, Chief Ifayemi Elebuibon, has described the deadly Coronavirus, which recorded an index case in Nigeria last Friday, as a man-made disease.
Elebuibon, who is a globally renowned Ifa priest (Babalawo), said the virus now ravaging the whole world was not a result of a natural disaster or caused by a natural phenomenon, but created by some people who then transferred its strains into animals.
In a chat with our correspondent in Osogbo, Elebuibon, said people contracted the deadly disease after consuming the animals carrying the virus.
According to the Araba of Osogbo, if it’s the result of a natural disaster, some sacrifices and rituals would have been offered to wipe out the virus.
He appealed to those who he said had created the Coronavirus to provide the cure for the deadly disease being caused by it around the world.
Elebuibon also advised every Nigerian to be cautious and observe more hygiene at this time.
Although the powerful herbalist promised to consult the deities for possible solutions to the rampaging disease, he urged every town and state in Nigeria to rise to the occasion and check its spread before it ravages the country.
He said, “I have discovered that this Corona Virus is man-made. It’s not a natural disaster. In the olden days, once diseases were ravaging a land, there were certain rituals that were performed to cleanse the land. This is a foreign disease; so, those who created it should supply the vaccine.
“Although we can still consult the gods with the hope of getting solutions, the best thing now is for every Nigerian to be careful and abide with the established health tips that would not make one vulnerable to the disease. Every town and state should come together and protect themselves.”
