Equatorial Guinea faced charges for failing to provide adequate security during their AFCON 2025 Qualifiers match against Togo on November 14, 2024, in Malabo.
The Disciplinary Board found Equatorial Guinea guilty and issued a suspended fine of $25,000, alongside an additional $5,000 penalty due to pitch invasions by supporters.
The Libyan Football Federation was penalized for supporter and official misconduct during their AFCON 2025 Qualifiers clash with Benin in Benghazi on November 18, 2024.
Citing violations of Articles 82 and 151 of the CAF Disciplinary Code, the Board imposed a $50,000 fine and mandated Libya to play their next two official home matches behind closed doors.
Benin’s Football Federation was charged with non-cooperation, breaching Article 45 of the CAF Disciplinary Code during their qualifier against Rwanda.
