Bayelsa senator, Ben Murray-Bruce, is in the news again; this time, for an awkward reason. The senator who seems to derive pleasure in twitting often, got a stinking spit from from a respondent, at the weekend.
The senator tweeted that ‘what do you guys think of a part-time senate where senators don’t get salary but a small sitting allowance? Is that not better for Nigeria?”
One Liberty Badmus then replied him, “Leave twitter alone and go to the senate floor to introduce this (Bruce-’s part-time senator proposal). Badmus further pilloried Bruce, saying, “Stop being a tweeter senator; your constituency has no network to tweet!”
Meanwhile, there are speculations that the senator’s businesses are already suffering, prompting his wish to be a part-time senator.
