Nollywood (Yoruba) actor, Gbolagade Akinpelu, popularly known as Ogun Majek, is dead.
The popular actor passed on in the early hours of Thursday at his residence in Imalefalafia, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Oyo State, according to findings by The Point.
The Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Adebayo Salami, aka Oga Bello, confirmed his death to our correspondent.
He said the late actor’s death was not COVID-19 related, noting that he had been ill for about three years.
“I’m in touch with our members in Ibadan to confirm the details of his burial, having died a Muslim,” Oga Bello said.
