A Channels TV reporter, Ayo Makinde, was, on Wednesday morning attacked, shortly after giving an account of happenings in the Ketu area of Lagos on live TV.
Makinde had said there was shooting in the residential area and pointed the Channels TV achors’ attention to a thick smoke coming from the Television Continental’s premises.
According to him, a man had been shot as of the time he was reporting.
Just after he gave his report, Channels TV showed a clip where he was being attacked on the spot.
Those responsible for the attack and why they did, had not been identified as of the time of filing this report.
