Association of Body Builders and Bouncers of Osun State has warned members to be wary of some fraudulent individuals using the name of the association to commit unscrupulous acts.
In a disclaimer signed by the President of the association, Joseph Shedrach and Secretary, Yusuf Mutiu Omotosho, a copy of which was made available to journalists in Osogbo, the body asked residents not to fall victim of these fraudulent impersonators.
The association also informed security agencies in the state of the development, urging members of the public to note that those perpetuating crimes using the association’s name are not its bonafide members.
The disclaimer was copied to the Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone XI, Osogbo, Osun State, the Commissioner of Police, Osun State Police Command Headquarters, Ring Road, Osogbo, the Area Commander of the Nigeria Police Force in Osogbo, the Osun State Commandant General, Amotekun Corps, and the Osun State Hunters Association, Osogbo.
It read, “It has come to notice of the Osun State Association of Body Builders and Bouncers that some fraudulent individuals are using the name of the association to perpetrate unscrupulous acts.
“The Osun State Association of Body Builders and Bouncers has observed with grave concern the activities of these fraudsters who are operating in the name of the association.
“The attention of the general public is hereby drawn to note that these fraudulent individuals are not members of Osun State Association of Body Builders and Bouncers.
“The general public is hereby requested to note that the Osun State Association of Body Builders and Bouncers can be reached through its head office situate at Royal Spring Hotel, Osogbo, Osun State.
“Please do not fall victim of these fraudsters. Please be guided.”
