Troops of Operation Lafiya Dole, the military operation against insurgency in the North-East, have stopped three Boko Haram terrorists, who disguised as Internally Displaced Persons, from infiltrating a camp in Bama, Borno State.
Our correspondent learnt that the three bombers, while attempting to break the military checkpoint, detonated their Improvised Explosive Devices and were killed.
According to the army, troops of 22 Brigade reportedly intercepted the fake IDPs at about 6pm, and thereafter recovered weapons, such as two AK-47 rifles and two magazines with several rounds of ammunition, from them.
