“And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God” – Romans 12:2
It is quite possible to experience the miraculous in your life everyday if you are born again as the Lord commanded in John 3:3. God tells us in 1 Peter 2:9 that we “are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people: that we should show forth the praises of God…”. If only you know whom you are in the light of this revelation, you will conduct yourself accordingly.
People with the royal blood running in their veins are very conscious of their royalty. The same goes for people of priestly descent and calling. They do not just do things the way everybody does it. They are mindful of their name, their words are carefully chosen and they do not go everywhere others go. They cannot afford to be seen in the very unlikely and unbefitting places because of their royalty and priestly bearing. Because their lifestyle is not common, they attract uncommon things.
Be intimate with God through praise and worship, knowledge and application of His principles, do not owe Him his dues, serve Him and have no alternative to him
If you are truly in Christ, you cannot be comfortable with gossiping, display of lust, tribal tendencies, hate speeches and many other things pointed out in Galatians 5:19-21. The Bible specifically points out that praising God is the main attribute of the chosen people. When you are really conscious of whom you are in Christ, you are thankful and full of praises to God who has called you out of the darkness of ignorance and hell into His marvelous light, even if your present condition doesn’t look royal.
The power of gratitude: (See Luke 15:17-19, John 11: 41-44). When you thank God habitually, you commit Him to do what He has not yet done. When you habitually praise Him, it shows that you know Him to be He who can do and undo; He who can kill and make alive. The atmosphere of praise from a pure heart attracts God and brings the miraculous to our lives.
The power of your words of faith: Psalm 50:23 says “whoso offereth praise glorifies me and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God.”
This tells us that there is a close relationship between what we say and what we get; therefore if we must get the benefits of our salvation, we must speak the words of salvation, not like the world speaks. Our conversation must align with the revelation in the word of God, not according to the indications of our senses. No wonder the Bible warns in Eccl 5:6 : “Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error; wherefore should God be angry at thy voice and destroy the work of thy hand.”
The power of your imaginations: Proverbs 4:23 enjoins us to keep our hearts with all diligence for out of it cometh the issues of life. 2 Corinthians 10:5 helps us to understand it better. It enjoins us to be “Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” This is exactly what David did to defeat Goliath. Do not let your sense of sight cast fear into your heart; do not let any ‘giant’ erode your knowledge of God. You should rather cast down anything and everything that wants to magnify itself above God (including humans and demons). Take every condition captive by picturing the almightiness of God. Take every mountain captive to the obedience of Christ, for it is written that at the name of Jesus Christ, every knee should bow, and who can say a thing and it comes to pass when God has not said so. NOBODY.
Beloved, you can subdue and defeat every Goliath that comes rearing his ugly head in your life by your knowledge of God and obedience to his principles. Be intimate with God through praise and worship, knowledge and application of His principles, do not owe Him his dues, serve Him and have no alternative to him. Let your words be His words, then the angels will bring the miraculous down to your door steps. Get to know His ways so as not to offend Him, and your miracles will be permanent and He will show you His acts. Have a nice time meditating daily on His word, then you will hear Him speak or whisper to your ears, and you will always walk in the supernatural.
Declaration: Father, I receive grace to speak, see and do according to your word. Every contrary word against my life cannot stand, for your angels are fighting my battles seen and unseen, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
