The ruling All Progressives Congress has insisted that nothing would change its decision to go ahead with its coming national convention slated for March 26.
The political party, on Friday, dismissed a letter addressed to it by the Independent National Electoral Commission that the party should give it a 21-day notice for its national convention.
Ismaila Ahmed, spokesman of the party’s Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, at a news conference on Friday, in Abuja, said that the APC had earlier intimated the commission of its plan to conduct its national convention on February 26.
He stated that for the March 26 date, a notice of adjustment of the convention date was required and not a fresh 21-day notice.
