CHAIRMAN of the South East Governors’ Forum and Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, has expressed confidence in the ability of George Moghalu to win the November 26 governorship election in Anambra State.
Umahi endorsed Moghalu for the Governorship of the state when the governorship aspirant paid him a visit at his Uburu country home.
The governor said Moghalu, who is the Managing Director, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), was a good product that would give other aspirants a run for their money, while hoping that the All Progressives Congress would win the election.
“I commend him so much for the great work he is doing for Nigeria and our people and he is a very good material that will give other parties a run for their money, I am very hopeful that with people like this we (APC) will take over Anambra State,” Umahi said in a statement by Francis Nwaze, his media aide.
He was also quoted to have promised to give the aspirant moral support and wise counsel to enable him to achieve his target.
Reacting Moghalu said, “I am very proud of David Umahi and what he has done for Ebonyi State, South East and the nation.
“The only way for you to describe Umahi’s performance is for you to go and see and that is what leadership is all about.”
