Akeredolu sacks Attorney-General, names Titiloye as replacement

GOVERNOR Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has sacked the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in the state, Kola Olawoye.

A new Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Charles Titiloye, has also been named with immediate effect.

This was disclosed in a statement on Monday, issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Segun Ajiboye.

The statement noted that the new Attorney-General’s name would be forwarded for confirmation to the Ondo State House of Assembly soon.

The Governor expressed his appreciation to Olawoye for services rendered to the state and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Reasons for the Governor’s decision were not however stated.
