Ahead of the governorship election in Ondo State, the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation Foot Soldiers Independent Council has sued for unity among various interest groups within the ruling All Progressives Congress.

It particularly assured that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa was all out for inclusive governance.

The group gave the admonition in a statement by its Director on Diaspora Matters, Dare Aliu, on Wednesday.

Aliu noted that the latest appointments of Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants, cutting across the three senatorial districts was a clear indication that Aiyedatiwa believes in inclusive governance.

“Contrary to recent insinuations, the governor has shown that his administration encourages full participation of all stakeholders within the party and among professionals and gifted individuals across the state.

“He sees the entire state as his constituency and is determined to bring competent interest groups on board, to make him attain his goals of providing needed infrastructure and enhancing human empowerment in all communities that compose the three senatorial districts of Ondo State,” Aliu stated.

While congratulating the new appointees and tasking them to deliver on the various beats assigned to them, the APC chieftain assured the governor of the full support of Ondo State indigenes in the Diaspora.

The Akure-born politician, who currently resides in the United States of America, added that plans were in top gear, in the ranks of indigenes in the Diaspora to work with the governor in bringing foreign investors to boost the industrial growth of Ondo State.

“We had had useful discussions with the governor and he was excited by assurances from prospective foreign investors, apparently for the purpose of job creation and industrial growth, which will ultimately make a positive impact on the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) rating of our dear country Nigeria,”Aliu enthused.

He, meanwhile, assured the governor of full support of the Central Senatorial District, especially his Akure community, in the governorship election coming up on November 16, this year.
