She describes herself as a fashion designer extraordinaire. Originally from Chicago, United States, now Nigerian by marriage, Queen Ahneva is a fashion designer with over 20 years of experience.
She designs culture couture clothes with a special focus on indigenous African textiles and insists that this is part of trying to make Africans patronise indigenous African textiles.
Her interest in Africa and its textiles began when she was President of the Black Students Union. This interest has, today, transformed into a chain of exquisite African designs.
