Senate minority leader, Philip Aduda , representing the Federal Capital Territory, has given thumbs up for the process of the ongoing presidential and national assembly elections after casting his vote at the Chief’s palace Ward, Karu, Abuja.

Aduda, a ranking third term senator who is seeking another mandate of his people on the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, said the process was encouraging.

“I’m satisfied with the voting process so far. From what I have seen and the speed with which my accreditation and voting took place, I am satisfied. The BVAS has been tested and proved effective and that is what just happened. I came in, got accredited and now I have voted. All these happened in seconds.”

Aduda voted at 10:54 in the morning and embarked on tour of the senatorial district to ascertain the level of progress.
