Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has approved the appointments of Chairmen and vice Chairmen of non-statutory boards.
One of them is Rasak Salinsile, a close ally to former governor of the state and immediate past Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola.
Salinsile was a factional chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the state.
The fresh appointments came a day after the governor performed the swearing-in ceremony for 25 commissioners and three permanent secretaries.
A statement issued on Thursday by the governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, noted that the appointments take immediate effect.
The governor appointed 21 Chairmen of boards with two of the boards having vice chairmen:
The list includes UNIOSUN – Wale Oladipo, UNILESA – Onigbogi, Iree Polytechnic – Diran Ayanbeku, Esa-Oke College of Technology – Diran Odeyemi, Ila College of Education – Peter Power, Ilesa College of Health Tech – Felix Ogunwale, Local Government Service Commission- Tunji Adeleke Junior, Hospital Management Board, K. Akinroye (Chairman); Dosu Adetayo (Vice Chairman), SUBEB- Ibukun Fadipe.
Others are OSBC – Muyiwa Oloso (Chairman); Lanre Laoye (Vice Chairman), Primary Healthcare Development Board – Taju Adisa, Water Corporation – Olayinka Oyedotun, Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslim Wing) – Maruf Ishola, Pilgrims Welfare Board (Christian Wing) – Funsho Ishola, Osun Health Insurance Scheme – Muyiwa Oladimeji, UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital – Niyi Owolade, TESCOM- Rasak Salinsile, Osun Council for Arts and Culture- Ebenezer Ebenco, Housing Loans Board – Akanfe Atidade, Osun Tourism Board – Kolade Adeleke, and Osun Internal Revenue Service – Sola Adewumi.
