FORMER National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomole, has dismissed the purported big presence of supporters of the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on social media, indicating that 2023 would determine their place in Nigeria’s political process.

While pointing out that many presidential candidates had not explained how they would fix Nigeria’s problems, he particularly quoted Obi as saying that his strategy was a secret.

Oshiomhole, who is the Director-General of the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu campaign Organisation, said this in an interview on ARISE News on Wednesday morning.

When an anchor of the programme, said Obi’s supporters would come after him (Oshiomhole) for criticising their candidate, he said, “I will come after them.”

According to him, time will tell if Obidients were really obedient in the scheme of things in Nigeria’s political process.

To him, Obi got away with many intriguing questions that he should have answered in a previous interview.

“Obi was asked how, and he said, ‘It’s a secret,'” Oshiomhole stressed.

The LP candidate, who was the running mate to Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 election, enjoys very good support of Nigerians across divides, especially on social media. His supporters are tagged Obi-dients.
