The Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba, has approved the redeployment of Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, to Lagos Command.
Alabi takes over from Hakeem Odumosu who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police.
Odumosu has been directed to resume at the Force headquarters in Federal Capital Territory Abuja for onward redeployment.
The Inspector General of Police has also ordered the transfer of Haruna Garba to Yobe State Police Command and Tajudeen Abass for the Benue State Police Command.
Until his redeployment, Alabi was the Bauchi State Police boss.
He is expected to resume at the Lagos Command, Ikeja on Monday, January 24, 2022.
