The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, is set to face an emergency trial in a Federal High Court in Abuja today.
Ifeanyi Ejiofor, who led Kanu’s legal team and Shuaibu Labaran, appearing for the Attorney General of the Federation, were already in court for the proceeding as of the time of filing this report.
Kanu is facing terrorism charge. The IPOB leader had yet to be brought to the court as at 9:54am.
Unlike the recent experience where journalists were barred during Kanu’s trial in court, they were allowed into the court premises today for coverage.
