Abba Sayyadi Ruma, former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development under the late President Umaru Yar’ Adua, has been reported dead.
Ruma, who was Minister of State for Education before assuming full status of Minister in the Agric Ministry, was said to have died today (Wednesday) after a brief illness.
He was aged 59.
A close source said that the former Minister passed on in a London hospital where he went for a medical checkup.
The late Ruma, from Katsina State, was born on March 13, 1962.
He founded Cherish International School in Batsari with campuses in Katsina.
