FAMILY members and neighbours of a couple, Pastor Eso Michael; and his wife, Deaconess Oluwafisayo Deborah Eso, said to have died from food poisoning, wailed uncontrollably on Thursday when the remains of the couple were interred at their Ireti Ayo, Ilesa residence.

The couple, aged 55 and 50 respectively were buried after a solemn service by their church, Last Days Deliverance Miracle Ministry, Agbala Irapada, Ilesa.

The clergy couple were found dead in their dining space within their sitting room last Friday with the circumstances surrounding  their deaths raising suspicion among residents of the community.

Sympathisers who thronged the burial venue couldn’t hold back tears. They described the untimely death of the couple, who they described as easy going, hardworking and God-fearing, as unfortunate.

One of the the couple’s neighbours said the deceased were hale and hearty before going to bed that fateful day, urging the police to unravel the cause of their deaths.

Meanwhile, the prime suspect, a 13 year old Beninese who was their house help has been detained by the Police.

Recall that the Osun State Police Command, through its Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, said it had begun  investigations into the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the couple.
