Despite several campaigns of calumny against him and his ministry, one of Nigeria’s leading men of God, and the leader of Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Joshua, has continued giving hope to the hopeless by helping the needy.
The ministry recently assisted a stranded Indonesian, Mrs Christie Pua and her family by giving them shelter, food, some cash donations and scholarship for the children.
Recounting the amazing and testimonial event, a distance church member from Ojodu area of Lagos, Mr Komolafe Johnson, explained that Mrs Pua was said to be a hopeless beggar in Lagos before he met the favour of God through the man of God.
Mr. Komolafe Johnson of the SCOAN said, “Distraught and emotionally battered, Mrs Pua, an Indonesian had come to The SCOAN premises with her two kids, crying and soliciting help from the man of God whom she believed would come to her aid.
“Her husband, a Nigerian from Imo State, named John Egesi, was doing business in Indonesia and had returned to the country with his family only for things to fall apart. Left homeless, the family took to the street. This was why Pua started looking for help to go back to her country because the street is hostile.”
It was gathered that while Mr Egesi hustled at a popular electronic market called Alaba International, his Indonesian wife and kids loitered about in the streets in search of succour.
The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV team, however, accepted them into the church and provided accommodation.
Prophet T.B. Joshua and his Emmanuel TV partners made cash donations to the family of Mr. Egesi with further assurances of getting him a job.
For Mrs Christie Pua and her two kids, their travel documents and flight tickets back to Indonesia were procured by the church while another three thousand US dollars was handed to them for upkeep. The church also announced scholarship to the two kids in any school of their choice in Indonesia.
The couple thanked the church for the gesture and expressed joy for the new lease of life they now enjoy through God’s grace.
They also called on world leaders to emulate the good example Prophet T.B. Joshua and his ministry have continued to set with their outstanding show of love to the weak and needy.
