The Ogun State Government, on Monday, commiserated with the family of a late Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Bunmi Odumusi, who passed away over the weekend, barely two days after her appointment into office.
The State Head of Service, Elder Sola Adeyemi, who led some members of the Executive Council to her family residence in Abeokuta, described the deceased as a woman of virtue.
Adeyemi added that the late permanent secretary was not only dedicated to her duties as a civil servant but also lived a good life worthy of emulation.
He described the late Odumusi as a big loss to the state civil service , saying, “The entire civil service of Ogun State would miss her leadership qualities as well as her immense contribution to the development of the state.”
The head of service prayed that God should grant her family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and also fill the vacuum created by her death.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Adedayo Adeneye, who commended her for her hard work while in the service of the ministry, said that the entire staff of the ministry would miss her motherly love and advice.
