Senior pastor and founder of The Synagogue for, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, is dead. He was 57.
The church officially confirmed through a post on the official Facebook page “T.B. Joshua Ministries” as true on Sunday morning, what filtered in as a rumour on Saturday night.
Popularly known as T.B Joshua, the acclaimed Prophet is the founder of Emmanuel TV run by SCOAN. It is one of Nigeria’s leading Christian broadcast stations and available worldwide via digital and terrestrial switches. Prophet T B Joshua was born on 12th June, 1963 in Ondo State, South West Nigeria to Kolawole Balogun, an educated man who worked as a translator for the British in Nigeria translating Yoruba to English in the colonial era.

On Saturday 5th June 2021, Prophet TB Joshua spoke during the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting: “Time for everything – time to come here for prayer and time to return home after the service.”
God has taken His servant Prophet TB Joshua home – as it should be by divine will. His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what he was born for, lived for and died for.
As Prophet TB Joshua says, “The greatest way to use life is to spend it on something that will outlive it”.
Prophet TB Joshua leaves a legacy of service and sacrifice to God’s Kingdom that is living for generations yet unborn.
