BANDITS, on Sunday, attacked Haske Baptist Church, Manini Tasha Village, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing a medical doctor and whisking away many worshippers to an unknown location.
This is coming barely two days after the killing of three of the students abducted from Greenfield University, in the state.
The gunmen were said to have stormed the Church at about 9am.
The medical doctor, identified as Zakariah Dogo Yaro, who was reportedly shot dead, was working with the Kaduna State Ministry of Health, it was learnt.
The gunmen were said to have stormed the Kaduna Church, shooting sporadically while the church members scampered for safety.
Some villagers were said to have escaped into the bush and had not been seen as of the time of filing this report.
Residents said most villagers were fleeing their communities, owing to the constant attacks.
