A Sport Utility Vehicle, at the weekend, developed a mechanical fault while in motion, the driver lost control and killed two children and their mother in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
The auto crash, involving the SUV with registration number, ‘LND 69 AR’ was said to have occurred near Crown FC Hostel, Ogbomoso Parapo, Oja Tutun Road axis of the town.
The vehicle was said to have veered off the road suddenly and crushed the victims – a woman and her two children – in her plastic shop.
The three victims died before they could be rushed to the hospital by residents, it was learnt.
Efforts to get the official reaction of the state Police Command were not successful as of the time of filing this report.
