MRS. Abigail Makinde, mother of Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, has passed on.
She died in the early hours of Thursday at the age of 81.
The governor, it was learnt, lost his father, Mr. Olatunbosun Makinde, a few years ago.
The family of the deceased had yet to make an official statement as of the time of filing this report.
