Buhari swears in four Permanent Secretaries

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in four newly appointed Permanent Secretaries of the Federal Civil Service.

The swearing-in ceremony held on Wednesday, before the Federal Executive Council meeting, in the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.

Recall that 12 Permanent Secretaries had earlier been sworn in before the 13th Virtual FEC meeting.

The newly sworn in Permanent Secretaries are Mr. James Sule, Kaduna State; Mr Ismaila Abubakar, Kebbi State; Mrs Ibiene Patricia Roberts, Rivers State; and Mr Shehu Aliyu Shinkafi, Zamfara State.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari; and National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno (retd), were physically present at the FEC meeting.

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice, Abubakar Malami; Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Minister of State for Finance, Budget and National Planning, Clement Agba; and Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, were also physically present.
